How much do I need to invest in a new Liberty investment property?

With the price of a new 4 bed / 2 bath / 2 car Liberty home in an excellent investment-grade location starting from $475k, you’ll only require a 10% deposit of $47,500 plus closing costs of approx. $12,500. So, you can get started with as little as $60,000, which can come from either savings or existing equity. A reliable source of income is also required to demonstrate to you home lender.

Is now a good time to invest in a Liberty property?

We believe interest rates will stay low and government stimulus will remain high until at least 2023 and on that basis, the current property boom has a lot further to run. Given there is also a shortage of investment-grade land, then it’s highly likely property will be higher in two years-time than they are now. So, if you have a secure income & deposit, then now is an excellent time to invest. Given property is a long-term investment, the sooner you get started, the sooner you will benefit from the compound capital growth & increasing rental returns a Liberty property offers.

Will I be able to secure a good tenant for my new Liberty home?

One of the many terrific things about investing in residential property is people will always need somewhere to live. Liberty only selects property investment locations after rigorous research and due diligence. Can I utilize the equity in my existing property or the equity in a property owned by my family?

Yes, equity in an existing property owned by you or your family is acceptable as a deposit. A reliable source of acceptable income is also required to borrow against.

Between my work, family and social lives, I’m very busy – will it take much of my time to build my property portfolio with Liberty?

There is an initial commitment of a few hours of your time to discuss, select and establish each property. However, once each property is established, very little of your time is required given you are plugged into the Liberty Property System, which handles everything for you.
